Welcome to the UNITY HIP HOP for March 10 2011!
Today's Scrapbook Thoughts:
I often get drawn into using papers and flowers, and other products that are feminine and call for pictures of girls. If I took a tally of my layouts, I would see 70% of my daughter Sophie. Last year, and this year, I will continue to remind myself to document my husband and boys in my pages more often. I want them to feel loved, and know what it is I am thankful for, and how they change and improve my life.
We are coming up to 10 years of marriage! It amazes me. I don't tell him enough, but I am so lucky to know him and feel so blessed to have a husband like Mark.
I paper pieced the heart, the rainbow piece for inside.
I stamped this sentiment in some white space that NEEDED SOMETHING. I always find stamps are a good fall back when you feel something is needed to fill some space. And you know what, Mark and I had that immediate connection. Right from the start, it felt like we knew each other already. It was just so easy and comfortable and lovely.
TIP TIME:
Be mindful of your color palette. I tried to stick to 4 colors (red, light blue, yellow, and pink). It makes for a more cohesive layout and it will look like everything belongs. Imagine if I threw something green in there. Where would your eye go?

IT'S MARCH!
Every month, Unity produces CUTE art on a 8.5x11 sheet of rubber just for kit club members!
Here is the kit for MARCH 2011:
HIP HOP SKETCHES?
Do you know about the Hip Hop Sketches? If you play along, you can win some stamps! I'm thinking that people just don't know where to find these challenges and where to upload. You can find the information at Splitcoast Stampers in Unity's Challenge Forum. New to Splitcoast Stampers? It can be a little overwhelming! First, register on the site, then find your way to Unity Stamp Co. We have our own hang out spot on Splitcoast. All the information you could possibly need is there. And if it's not, just add a new topic and ask away!
Before I go....have you seen this?
It's our new WEEKLY tutorials that will be posted on Unity's blog and on our You Tube Channel. If you become a subscriber to our channel on You Tube, you can look forward to benefits! For instance, Angela is giving away 5 Itty Bitty Stamps to 5 subscibers. Winners will be announced on Unity's Facebook page this upcoming Monday.
To continue on the hop, click on the button! You won't be disappointed.
