TODAY'S PROJECT
Here is my project(s) for today.  I used the stamps to make tags that will accompany jewelry that I made for gifts.  These were supposed to be quick gifts, and I think it took about 30 minutes for each pair of earrings.

All tags have been sprayed with Shimmerz spritz, then inked with various chalk inks and/or paint.  The butterfly is a die cut from Silhouette.  After the tags were dry and stamped, I was surprised at how vibrant the Copic markers came through!  Especially on that heart!

To make the butterfly tag, I used the side of the FRAME stamp and used it several times, mixed with the smaller floral image.

Before you go, I wanted to share with you some of my favourite new stamps from Iron Orchid Designs and Unity:

Just Hear Those Sleigh Bells Jingling... Hip Hop!

Good morning and good day!  If you're here for the UNITY and IPPITY HIP HOP  - WELCOME!

TODAY's THEME:
CHRISTMAS CARDS & LAYOUTS

Can you believe that it's December already?  It was lovely and snowing yesterday, not too cold, just right!  Only 23 more days until Christmas and you know what I have to do before then?

COOKIES!  Can you smell the vanilla?

I love the big round stamp that says 100% Certified Homemade.  I stamped it several times in red, and then in green.  I stamped one circle on PHOTO PAPER to get a nice clean image, then used my Spellbinders to cut it out, then placed it over the main image.

Again, stamping on photo paper, I stamped HOLIDAY MEMORIES in red, cut out, then placed on the layout.

I had lots of leftovers from my Up the Street kit, that I was able to make this cute tag to go along with my layout, and I was able to use the Webster's Pages letters from the kit as well to make my HOME BAKED title.

In case you want these stamp sets, below are the complete sets and the link to Unity's store.

Before I started designing with Unity, these stamps were on my list!  A must have for any BAKER who gived their treats out at Christmas.  I just find these so classy and versatile.

Up the Street December Kits are AVAILABLE NOW!

$54.50

Below are some  projects made with the MAIN kit and the Add-on Kit.

I have had a wonderful time recalling last year's memories of Christmas when putting together layouts for this kit release.

I found the BEST etsy.com gift for my husband last year, a Bruce Springsteen mug and he loved it!  I actually just handed him a cup of coffee on Christmas morning in his new mug and it took him FOREVER to notice it!

I used the kit's embossing powder to make the swirls (using a stamp from Unity Stamp Co.), and then applied some red stickles.

My Top 5 FAVOURITE Things in This Kit:
  • Those BIG PRIMA FLOWERS
  • Webster's Pages Trims
  • Webster's Pages Letter Stickers
  • The STAR pins
  • Bo Bunny Chipboard Pieces

Here is my sweet daughter a couple years back.  I thought this was a perfect Dear Santa face.  I used the Basic Grey presents to line the photo and I also used some of that gorgeous butter cream trim!

On the very right, I embossed some green cardstock and painted the raised parts with cream paint.

And there is an awesome stamp that comes in the kit from Inkadinkado - PERFECT for present toppers!  I stamped them on cream cardstock, trimmed them, then inked around the edge with Old Paper Distress Ink.  I coloured the image with Copics and used U-Cut-It foam from Glue Arts to give it 3D dimension.

I cut out some small circles with the U-Cut-It foam (using my Cuttlebug and Spellbinders) to make the Present Toppers ready to go for Christmas presents.

I STILL HAVE MORE TO SHOW YOU!  The kit is SO big that so far, I've made 5 layouts and the present toppers!  And I still plan on making more!
