CHF Challenge Chicks! A Gift Wrap Challenge!

I bought this little box of chocolate covered cranberries from Winners and I loved the box so much, I thought about taking it apart to see if I could re-create it for my Christmas cookie packages. I just bought the Scor-Pal a little while ago, and with it, I feel like I can make anything - including these cute boxes!!!

I wanted people to be able to see my cookies, so I used my Making Memories circle cutter to make holes, then I used CHF Clear Card Sheets to make the windows, and white staz-on to stamp the images (all rubber from Cornish Heritage Farms).

AND - I finally got to use my Certified Homemade stamp!!! I designed that stamp from "Winter Vintage Signage" for this exact purpose.

Other CHF Players:
Becky Olsen
Carole Burrage

Julia Stainton

A Layout Challenge....

Let's start with the holidays!!! Below you will find pictures of yummy cookies that me and my friend Luisa made for our friends and family. We had so much fun and spent the better part of two days baking and wrapping.

This is by far, my favourite time of year. So many cheery faces, lots of wonderful decorations, and of course, baked goodies.

At Cornish Heritage Farms, instead of doing our bi-weekly sketch, we decided to scrap the holidays! Something special about Christmas that we love and look forward to, a tradition or special decoration, etc.... Since I just took these wonderful photos, I thought I should scrap them! That's my friend Luisa with her "Christmas Cook" hat on. :)

Other design team members playing along this week are Kim Hughes, Carole Burrage, and Julia Stainton.

Catching Up!

First things first. There is a Cornish Heritage Farms Rummage Bin release, but I am sad to say that I will no longer be illustrating under this stamp line. For numerous reasons, one being that time was not on my side, I decided to slow things down and focus on playing with paper, ink, and stamps. :) But alas, CHF will continue building this line into something amazing I am sure! Lisa Strahl put together a cool inchie set based on previous sets I designed and Becky Olsen has designed a collage stamp for this month. I don't have a sample to show you as I don't yet have this stamp, but I will soon! You can see it here Wonder is Best When Shared.

Also - two new Scrapblocks were released this week: Tulle Damask and Distressed Grid. They are fantastic to work with!

Below, I will show you which stamps I used on each project. Full supply lists can be accessed by clicking on the pictures. It will take you to my CHF gallery.

CHF Stamps: Woodgrain Backgrounder, Rummage Bin (Ledger Me Set, Inchie Style Set)

CHF Stamps: Rummage Bin (Inchie Style)

CHF Stamps: Distressed Gird Scrapblock (TM), Rummage Bin (Inchie Style), Mona Lisa Moments (Classic Essential Expressions)

A Sketch For You....

Julia Stainton created this wonderful sketch over at Cornish Heritage Farms, and I am SO happy with my layout.

I used my November kit from Bad Girls Kit Club to make most of the layout, plus gorgeous stamps from CHF, called Silhouette Blooms I and II, designed by the talented Kim Hughes. The three squares were inspired by Madi's shirt, and the 2 stamp sets.
Check out Kristine Reynolds and Julia Stainton's blogs for their take on the sketch, and as always, we would love for you to play along.
Many blessings.
