Up the Street September Kits!

I just wanted to share two layouts made so far with the SEPTEMBER 2012 kit from Up the Street Scrapbooking!

I worked with Kit #2 Sweet Sunshine - so many beautiful colours in here, made my layouts easy to put together.  A little Mustard Seed Distress Ink helped add some colour to the first layout, and I used some new Spellbinders die templates from their CHA Summer Release.

Up the Street July Kits!

I just wanted to share my JULY 2012 kit work from Up the Street Scrapbooking!

As an aside, I was able to visit Up the Street Scrapbooking store in Strathroy, Ontario and it is a PHENOMENAL store.  Tara has filled it with an amazing amount of product, and she hand picked some really cool and unique supplies.  Coupled with the antiques and cool "finds" she has placed throughout the store, it is worth the drive to Strathroy.  She also has an amazing crop space in the back, where she has card classes, mixed media classes, etc.  I am definitely going back.  Before we left, we talked about a Christmas card day where we could just hammer out 50 cards in one day.  I hope that day happens!

For July, I worked with Kit #2 Hit the Beach - perfect to capture my July vacation memories right away, and I also worked with the JULY MINI ALBUM KIT (STILL SOME LEFT).  I scrapped my July vacation in the mini album and managed to get 37 photos in there!

The kits are sold out by now, and I have in my hands the September kit (upcoming) and it is beautiful.  If you want one, you might have to make sure you order on or around September 1st, because they are selling out!

UP THE STREET SCRAPBOOKING June Kit

The JUNE 2012 kits from Up the Street Scrapbooking are now available!

I worked with Kit #1 SUMMER DAZE which has a wonderful and rich colour palette, yet you can make a layout that is cream on cream with only small pops of colour.  It is a great kit with a lot of options for embellishing.

Julianna C. Hudgins Design Team!!

This amazing woman is so full of creativity and spunk, and is so magnetic, that I just wish I had an ounce of energy that she has!  Julianna is a brand all to herself, she has vision and she has a big voice in the crafting industry.  She is known for many things, one being the introduction of Artistic Wire to the crafting industry.

She is also an International Spokesperson, TV personality, Author and Jewelry Designer.
She appears on the Jewelry Television Network and has appeared on shows that we love like TNN’s Aleene’s Creative Living, HGTV’s Carol Duvall Show, PBS Scrapbook Memories (now Scrapbook Soup), DIY Scrapbooking, Shop at Home TV, Home Shopping Network and QVC.

Julianna was elected by the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) to present the latest trends and wire working techniques at the Japan Hobby show in Tokyo, has penned four wonderful books on beading and wire working and was Owner of JewelCraft (an importing company of beads, crystals and jewelry findings).

With all that said, Julianna has decided to put together a design team to help her bring her vision for crafting to life.  I am lucky enough to be included in her team, and could not turn down the chance to work with such a dynamic woman.  Thank you Jewels!!

I first met Julianna at the 2011 Spellbinders Retreat, and again in 2012, as she is currently working with Spellbinders on building a designer line of dies, and they can be seen HERE

This is one of my favourite die templates from Julianna:

Julianna has also asked the following designers to be a part of her team (WHAT A TEAM!!!):

Have a wonderful weekend!
