Pooey Love or Baby Love, Same Thing Hip Hop

For today's post, I have departed from my usual style and offer up more of a free style page.  I'm curious to know what you think???

JOURNALING:

To me, baby love is pooey love.  It’s the kind of love that allows you to change a diaper, without even minding, well, except for those number 2’s that explode up the back.

Welcome to the UNITY HIP HOP for February 24!

So if you're wondering where Pooey Love came from, you'll have to ask the whimsical Suzi Blu!  She designed the cutest stamp ever, and I just got it in the mail on Tuesday.  Had to use it for a baby page!

Here is the POOEY LOVE stamp itself (retails for $6.50):

PSST - Itty Bitty stamps are BUY 3, get 1 FREE!
Note from Angela:
HOORAY! we have an ITTY BITTY SPECIAL for you. BUY 3 get one FREE! just put 3 itty bitty stamps in your cart and upon checkout write the 4th itty bitty stamp in the COMMENT SECTION! And here it is on my layout.

I used the NEW Carnivale Alphas designed by Marah Johnson (retail $25.00) - love these:

This part of the layout and the letters remind me of an old Dennis Lee book we used to read all the time called Aligator Pie.

The paint you see here is Shimmerz (Turquoise and Golden Wheat paints).

And I used the bird cage from Free to Be (retail $25.00):

The birdcage was stamped onto photo paper and spritzed with Shimmerz, then cut out and adhered to the layout.  I hand drew the chain.

TIP TIME:

Use up your brads by finding all the colors that match your layout and make random holes with your piercer.  Then fill the holes with brads.  (see all the brads on the lower half of the layout).

IT'S STILL FEBRUARY!

Just a reminder that Unity has a cool kit club.  Every month, Unity produces CUTE art on a 8.5x11 sheet of rubber just for kit club members!  Here it is:

HIP HOP SKETCHES?

Do you know about the Hip Hop Sketches?  If you play along, you can win some stamps!  I'm thinking that people just don't know where to find these challenges and where to upload.  You can find the information at Splitcoast Stampers in Unity's Challenge Forum.  New to Splitcoast Stampers?  It can be a little overwhelming!  First, register on the site, then find your way to Unity Stamp Co.  We have our own hang out spot on Splitcoast.  All the information you could possibly need is there.  And if it's not, just add a new topic and ask away!

Now it's time to hop on over to the next blog in the hop.

So cute!! Love the brad idea. Does the artist have a cat, in addition to her dog, and that's why she did a cat?
